As a BTDT (been there done that) MT parent of TWO theater students, I quickly saw a need for what was missing most in MY college audition prep year: coaching for the parent. In fact, if I could have had a specialized coach JUST for me, JUST about THIS during my daughter’s junior or even sophomore year in high school? SIGN ME UP! Senior year has WAY too much going on to be pulled off course by the process that is the gauntlet of applying and auditioning for college to pursue Musical Theater & Acting. That’s where MTPC was born.
MY STORY
I'm grateful that someone somewhere put me in an online group where I stumbled upon AMAZING coaching for my daughter. Worth. Every. Cent. Yet something was missing for ME. I was blessed (and I mean BLESSED) to have a BTDT parent whose daughter went through the process two years ahead of mine. They were instant friends when my daughter started in the Arts Academy at their school. A senior to help a sophomore? Yes please! This wasn’t a “bigs and littles” situation- if you know, you know. This was a genuine friendship. Her mom? Little did I know at the time that she would become my savior over the next three years and ESPECIALLY senior year.
